Installing License Protection Software#

Important

Before installing EMSolution, install the license protection software CodeMeter.

After installation, activate the license through CodeMeter License Central WebDepot.

Be sure to complete the following steps.

Step 1: Install CodeMeter Runtime#

  1. Visit the CodeMeter Runtime download page.

  2. Download the version for your operating system (Windows or Linux).

  3. Install CodeMeter Runtime following the instructions on the website.

  4. Restart your computer after installation completes.

Step 2: Activate the license#

  1. Visit SSIL’s license activation page, CodeMeter License Central WebDepot.

  2. Enter the license key provided by SSIL.

  3. Activate the EMSolution license following the instructions on the activation page.

  4. After activation, open CodeMeter Control Center and confirm that the license is registered correctly.

  5. Start EMSolution and confirm that the license is recognized correctly and the software runs.
