Running on Linux

Running on Linux#

After creating and checking the required input files, run EMSolution with one of the following commands.

emsol.XXX [-v] [-d run_dir] [-f input_file_name] [&]

Parameters in square brackets [ ] are optional.

  • -d run_dir

    Specifies the run directory. If omitted, the current directory is the run directory. Run the command from the directory containing the input data. End the directory name with / (a slash).

  • -f input_file_name

    Specifies the name of the input file. The default name is input.

  • -v

    Displays license information (r11.1.2 and later).

  • &

    Runs in the background when specified.
