INITIAL_STEP#
- INITIAL_STEP(7)#
Text-format section
[row, col] = [1, 1]
Setting value |
Description |
|---|---|
-1 |
Sets all initial conditions to zero. Default |
≥0 |
Uses the solution at |
Note
For static analysis (STATIC(2) = 1), the solutions file is written from step 1. For time-domain analysis (TRANSIENT(2) = 1), the step 0 solution is the initial condition itself. For frequency-domain analysis (AC(2) = 1), set this to 0.
DATA_TYPE#
- DATA_TYPE(7)#
Text-format section
[row, col] = [1, 2]
Setting value |
Description |
|---|---|
0 |
Uses static analysis |
1 |
Uses frequency-domain analysis |
2 |
Uses steady-current eddy-current analysis |
3 |
Uses old_solutions as initial values. |
Active when INITIAL_STEP != -1.
INITIAL_PHASE#
- INITIAL_PHASE(7)#
Text-format section
[row, col] = [1, 3]
- Data type:
Real number (E)
- Unit:
degree
- Description:
Sets the phase (degree) when frequency-domain analysis (
AC(2)= 1) results are used as initial values. When steady-current eddy-current analysisSTEADY_CURRENT(2)results are used for transient analysis after changing the mesh model’s angular width, enter the mesh model’s minimum angle from the steady-current analysis.
MULTI#
- MULTI(7)#
Text-format section
[row, col] = [1, 4]
- Data type:
Integer (I)
- Description:
When transient analysis uses steady-current eddy-current analysis (
STEADY_CURRENT(2)= 1) results as initial values, specifies the multiplier used after changing the mesh model’s angular width.- Default value:
0
OUTPUT_STEP_NO#
- OUTPUT_STEP_NO(7)#
Text-format section
[row, col] = [1, 5]
- Data type:
Integer (I)
- Description:
Use to change the step number normally treated as step 0 at restart. For example, with 10, the restart step is step 10 and post-processing output starts at step 11.
- Default value:
0
CYCLE_AC#
- CYCLE_AC(7)#
Text-format section
[row, col] = [1, 8]
- Data type:
Real number (E)
- Unit:
sec
- Description:
For Darwin model time-domain analysis that uses frequency-domain analysis results with
AC(2)= 3 or 5 as initial values, specify one period of the original frequency-domain analysis in seconds. This determines the value at the phase one time step before the initial value. Darwin model time-domain analysis discretizes a second-order time-derivative term, so it requires the previous-step value in addition to the initial value.- Default value:
0
Warning
When restarting from an initial run, the mesh, potentials, and circuit power-supply configuration must not change. Adding an electric scalar potential or changing a constant-current source to a constant-voltage source is permitted. Restarting from coupled equation-of-motion analysis requires renaming the corresponding files.
