This chapter describes additional input files used when running EMSolution. Place these files in the same directory as the input file. Additional input files contain data required to run EMSolution. Each file is read when it is enabled by the corresponding setting in the input file.
The following additional input files are available. File names are generally fixed.
2D_to_3D : two-dimensional to three-dimensional conversion#
File for creating a three-dimensional mesh by stacking a two-dimensional mesh. It specifies the thickness of each two-dimensional mesh element in the z direction ( \(\theta\) direction). The three-dimensional mesh is a set of two-dimensional meshes stacked in the z direction ( \(\theta\) direction).
temperature.dat : temperature data#
Defines temperature data for temperature-dependent analysis using TEMP_DEPEND(2).
Use requires the <TEMP_DEPEND module>.
initial_magnetization.dat : initial magnetization#
IV-3. initial_magnetization.dat File
Defines magnetization set by magnetization input ( READ_OPTION(17.7.2) ) for each MAGNET(17.7) element.
