Detailed description#
DCCURR defines current-inlet faces on the end faces of coil regions and uses the current-density distributions obtained from steady-current analyses of multiple coil regions.
Hint
In two-dimensional analysis, it cannot be used when the current-inlet face coincides with the conductor definition region.
In three-dimensional analysis, using it for multiple coil regions produces a current-density distribution concentrated toward the inside of curved coil regions.

Caution
Define the current-inlet face on a Bn=0 face or a periodic-symmetry face of the analysis region.
If conductors are connected, specify only one face of the material ID adjacent to the inlet face on line 2.
For a curved conductor, the current may become nonuniform.
A coil connected through a periodic-symmetry face must be defined as one
PART.Induced current is not included.
