Description:

Surface-element material IDs used to calculate current passing through a surface.

Surface elements forming the surface must be included in the input mesh data file pre_geom or rotor_mesh. They must coincide with faces of conductive volume elements. The surface-element orientation (right-hand rule) must point outward from the volume elements. Current flowing out of the volume elements is summed.

A negative surface-element material ID reverses the surface-element orientation. This is useful for two-dimensional analysis.
